We've been busy...

...mostly with the D-Backs and the holidays! Lucky for us we got the company seats and got to sit right close to the front! Second row! It was so fun. We took my friend V and her little boy and also one of Jory's friends. It was fun to see the D-Backs even though they haven't been on a winning streak or anything. The cutest thing of the whole night was when the guy in front of us flagged the ump down and he threw him the game ball and then he gave it to Roux! A complete stranger did that! Nice to know that nice still exists!

The other picture is of Jas and Jory on the 4th of July. I just thought that picture was so typical of Morgan! Wearing a ski parka while lighting your sparklers! It's the 4th of July and we were freezing! I guess it's all that thin blood from being in AZ!

Hope you all had a great 4th and I'm hoping to be better with my blogging skills...seriously :)

I love Jon Schmidt...

Jon Schmidt is so amazing! I've seen him perform live several times but when I saw this video I had to share it here! He is so talented and uses music to inspire and uplift. My little sister Jasmine can even play several of his pieces. It's amazing the talent that some people have with the piano! Here's to both of you! Thanks for blessing our lives with music!

Rayla wanted an update

Okay Rayla, here is that update you've been requesting! I'm not sure why I've been so bad at updating the blog...but lately I just haven't had time to get around to my blog! I work on the computer all day and when I get home, the last thing I want to do is get on here and try and put something down. So, after some begging from Rayla I decided it was time for an update!

I went to SLC for Easter and it was so fun! I took a ton of pictures so here are just a couple of my favorites!

This is me and Ashlyn, my niece, at Destry's play

This is after the play was over and we were telling Destry what a great job she had done.
Doesn't this picture just encompass what Jas is...a perfect little baby-sister.
Big Paul with his only grand son Wyatt. And he has grown SO much since I last saw him!
Beautiful Aunt Kay Kay!
All the girls for a quick photo opp. As you can imagine it's hard to get everyone to look in the same direction! Especially when you have kiddos!
Big Paul with his birthday present--his very own custom made chaps with his brand on them!
The cousins waiting for the candle part of the birthday party! They are so freakin' cute I just want to take their cute little smiles everywhere I go!
My beautiful older sister Tappia and her youngest Kynlee Jane. I just really loved this photo of these two! Their hair is sooo different!
Me helping out the kiddos with their Easter baskets! Don't you love Easter Sunday because of all the cute dresses little kids are wearing!
Grandma and Sierra dying Easter eggs.
Kynlee eating a quick snack with us! And just smiling and being happy while her parents were at the Temple.
Kynlee trying to say her sister Sierra's name. It was the cutest thing you've ever seen! She also wanted some of the treats in Sierra's Easter basket!
Sierra and I at the Easter Egg hunt and of course it had to be raining a little bit--so we wore hoods!
Best picture ever! Grandpa and Hadyn!
Ashlyn waiting on her mom. I just couldn't resist taking this picture!
Destry in her costume from her play, "The Music Man" where she was a River City teen.
My Grandma holding her great grandson Wyatt. I think this picture of the two of them is so precious. And she held him for quite awhile. Trust me, I was next so I know how long I had to be patient!

It's always so fun going home! Thanks to Destry for sharing her room/bathroom! I already miss all of you and can't wait until next time!

A little behind...

WARNING---Long post ahead--but lots of pictures too!!!

I've been so behind on blogging...I'm determined to get caught up. Especially since the reason I've been behind is I've been having so much fun! Here's a little re-cap of what's been going on the last 2 months (cause April is around the corner!)

Feb 1st-ish--My dad made a quick trip to Phoenix for the Cattleman's convention and to visit me!

Feb 12-ish--My Grandma JoAnn flew into town and decided to stay in Phoenix indefinitely! She wanted the true Phoenix experience so we've driven all over the city! ***Phoenix is huge FYI***

Feb 14-ish--We went to the James Otto concert for Valentines day and I was able to meet him and have him sign our wristbands! He had the #1 song of 2008 "Just got started lovin' you" It was awesome!

Feb 20-ish--Kailey and her best friend Sierra were on the Rodeo circuit and had a stop in Phoenix for a night or so. We went to dinner theater with Grandma and some family and then I went and watched them at the rodeo the next morning...after which they drove back out of town. Their trip was quick, but fun!

Feb 25-ish--My best friend Laura flew in from Texas and stayed for 4 or 5 days and we had SO MUCH FUN! We went to the Suns game, did the pool, went hiking, had massages, went out to dinner, took tons of photos, and got caught up on each other's lives. We also went to the dueling piano bar (my favorite) and sang along! It was great to have her here. But next time I'll go visit her in Texas!

March 7-ish--Jasmine came to town for her college spring break! She flew in and stayed for quite awhile. Those of you in Utah don't need to know why she chose Phoenix...it's sunny and beautiful here and snowy up there! We did the pool and painted pottery, went out to dinner, went to Spring Training to watch the Angels and the A's, we went shopping, and the best part of the whole week was the Rascal Flatts concert! Randomly we got picked to go to the front row! Jas was WAY excited because it was her first concert!

March 17-ish--Grandma JoAnn decided to fly back to SLC. She decided over a month is Phoenix was just what she needed and she was ready to go back to her SLC condo. It was so fun having her here. Over the course of the month and half she was here we did tons...We went to a jewlery show with my friends, out to dinner numberous times, the Reniassance Fair, Sprinkles Cupcakes in Scottsdale, Dinner Theater to watch Singin' in the Rain, San Tan Flat, Spring Training Games, hung out in Queen Creek, and I think she did spend some of her time writing.

March 19-ish--Went and saw RENT playing at ASU Gammage theater! It was awesome!

March 20-ish--An old friend came into town, so we met up and had dinner.

March 25-ish--Rayla's whole family came to town! It was fun to see them after so many years! Rayla and her family have been friends of our family for so so long. Our parents actually knew each other before either one of them started having kids. While Rayla's parents have been here we've gone out to eat and also went to a Spring Training game!

And that brings us current to the first part of April! I was joking with my mom that this is a busy time of year in Phoenix because everyone wants to come visit here! Not only is the weather perfect, but there is so much to do around this city! It's just never ending. On top of all the other things we've found a few weekends to relax and just BBQ...but I love Phoenix in the Spring...it's the best time of year here!

Now if all the writing wasn't too boring...here's a few pictures...FYI they're from most recent going backwards towards February 1st :)

$77,777 dollars...and I saw it go down!

I've been searching for this clip all week, and I'm proud to say I finally found it! I was actually sitting in row 10 when this guy did this...it was crazy! Wish it would have been me?! I mean seriously...has he been practicing that?!!!

Happy Birthday Hailey & the Coyotes!

This picture is from Hailey's surprise birthday party--just call me a party planner! Her mom even flew into town! It was so fun seeing her face when she realized her mom was here and that all her friends were there for a party in her honor! Happy Birthday girl! Love ya!

This is the first Coyotes game this year/season for me! Rayla came with and we drank hot chocolate and had a blast in the suite!

Don't you just love that new chunky ring I'm wearing...it's my new favorite accessory!
